Body
Signal Stick Unsetting (SSU data) is the process in which a signal is "knocked down" by a passing train such that it cannot re-clear for another train without re-setting the route. The actions taken in this logic are only executed if the signal is showing a proceed aspect. Like TISP data, SSU data can take one of two forms. In the usual form, two track sections are specified, the berth track section, and the first track section in the route. If both track sections are occupied with the signal showing proceed, then the signal stick is unset (cleared). If there is no berth track section then the first track section in the route can be specified twice. In the second form, a single conditional statement is evaluated while the signal is showing proceed which, if true, unsets (clears) the signal stick. This form is uncommon. SSU data is not required for automatic routes.
